newest nfs-utils-package cause mount-nfs to fail

Postby hp4 » Sat Feb 21, 2015 8:00 pm

after the last system update via pacman mount.nfs is not wotking on my raspberry pi. The problem seems to be related to the update to nfs-utils 1.3.2-2.

Falling back to version 1.3.1.1 immediately restores the functionality

calling mount.nfs with debug switch shows the iteration over different nfs-version ending with a maybe corrupted version "3065173208".

the previous nfs-version 1.3.1.1 instead is looking for "vers 3"

searching google shows that other users also experience similar problems.

Any idea what might be wrong?

Any update on this issue? I have the same problem but a downgrade didn't help

Specify the version in your mount string.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'vers=x.x')

I reinstalled the actual nfs-utils via pacman.

This time pacman automatically added 2 additional packages (new dependencies??):

(1/3) Installiere ding-libs [######################] 100%
(2/3) Installiere gssproxy [######################] 100%
(3/3) Aktualisiere nfs-utils [######################] 100%

After this installation mount.nfs using option "vers=3" worked in my environment.
