X11VNC and Xdummy video driver

Hello,

I'm currently using x11vnc -create to run avnc server on a virtual output device.

I just read in the x11vnc man, that there is the option to use a special Xdummy framebuffer which supports window resizing etc (xrandr)

In the pacman repos I found extra/xf86-video-dummy. Is this the Xdummy video driver ?

Anyone has an idea how to use it ?

And I have another little question:

How can I run e.g. icewm as soon as i connect to the newly created device ?

I just installed xvfb and x11vnc under Debian on my SheevaPlug using apt-get. They installed without problems but it took me a few hours to get it working. I have two clients, xfontsel and xterm, now running on my SheevaPlug and displaying on my Windows 7 desktop.

I am using Xming for the X server on Windows. I also have SUA, the Microsoft Services for Unix Applications installed. Xming is running in multi-windows mode, without first running XLaunch. See http://www.straightrunning.com/XmingNotes/index.php.
