Had to sign up today to ask this question. It isn't a huge problem and I don't know if this is related to this problem but a few updates ago my dockstar will only start up if I only have the USB drive it boots off of plugged in. So when I reboot I have to unplug all my other USB drives except the one Arch is on and it will boot up fine then I can plug them back in. I check all the logs and it doesn't give any clue as to why it will only boot with the OS drive plugged in.
Is this related to the recent update? Or am I in the wrong topic to be asking about this problem?

I'm sure there is a more eloquent solution... but what I've done is copy uImage from my boot drive to the other connected devices in a /boot/ folder. Basically the other drives are being recognized before the drive you have archlinux on. Of course, this means you have to copy the kernel over to the other drives when you update.

What is the source of the problem though? is there a new version of uboot I have to install maybe? Whenever I look for it on google it doesn't seem like it has been updated in a while from the sites I found. It seems easier to only reboot when I'm at home than to have to copy the kernel to the other drives every time I update. Thanks for the suggestion but I will probably only use it as my last resort.

Saw today when I went to update the Kernel is back to 3.1.10-1 and mine said it was newer so I reverted back to an old Kernel/Kernel Header package that was already on my dockstar (3.1.7) then updated it to 3.1.10-1 today and it is booting fine again. Problem Resolved...
