The thing I'm really concerning is that what if I massed up bootargs and won't be able to bring up the system at all, even with above trick, what my option would be.

If I boot from SATA (with your Entirely from SATA), will I be able to correct the bootargs in NAND and go back to square one, or I have to stick with Entire SATA boot?

i have a b01 that (with a bootable sata drive) gets a solid green light but no internet access. I used a serial cable and "screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200 8N1" to watch the boot process but I am only able to copy the last bit of it. which I have pasted below. whenever I try to use putty it says that a connection cannot be established. any thoughts?

1st - if it is getting stuck here, you are using a pci kernel, which the B01 does not have.

As for PuTTY, it should work fine assuming you have correctly set the connection settings.

Probably a kernel that is non-pci, as per the directions
