Assuming they pass CE approval, of course.

back from florida, estimated delivery date ... Aug 2012. Distributors decided to back off until CE and FCC compliance is documented.

I'll put on a pot of coffee. We'll be here a while.
Remember, Arch Linux ARM is completely donation-supported, and is totally awesome.

To whet your whistle, quake3 compiles in 66 minutes, runs at 24.1 fps 1080p. Who the hell plays these silly games?
XBMC got thru bootstrap, then configure, now compiling. All compiled on the pi. Will report back on that.
LXDE is very usable, maybe 8 seconds to load, Midori about 10 to google page.
There is a busybox kernel so you can rescue drives. I redid my own real easy, might be possible to get a mini arch so you could pacman with a -r. I got one problem with both, not able to resolve dns.
Plus it's had a couple of segfaults of late, always when downloading packages. Running off sd card is quite stuttery, gone back to hard disk. And ar9170 wireless card seems to have problem loading firmware. Alsa works now.

I am using qemu while I wait for my RPi. I've been using the Arch LInux Arm release. So far I've just installed jwm. rox. xterm, geany, tk, tcl and Python.
I need to learn more about setting up JWM!

I received my Raspberry Pi just over a week ago now. I've not had any issues with it other than my SD card not working (most people have this problem), but I bought another the same day which did work. It's pretty good fun.

I just got an email saying I will get my RPi in the week beginning 28/5/12. In the meantime, I am loving the Arch Arm release. I've taken note of the comments by "Commander Coder" (as featured in a blog post by Liz). I have Python 3 with Pygame, Open JDK, GeoGebra and Greenfoot installed. I am just working on Scratch at the moment. :D

Well, I have my alpha pi for a while. I would have liked new one but delays have put me off ordering.
Expect new kernel and firmware soon.

Had mine sitting here for a little while. I'm planning on giving archlinux a try tomorrow. Been running a VPN on my pogoplug mobile for months now without issue. I'm hopeful that arch on the Pi will be just as stable.
