systemd-networkd leases

Postby hendry » Tue Apr 22, 2014 4:25 am

Hi,

I switched to systemd-networkd, which is part of 212-3 with

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[hendry@alarmpi ~]$ cat /etc/systemd/network/20-dhcp.network
[Match]
Name=*
[Network]
DHCP=yes
')

Unfortunately lately it just keeps losing and getting lease again and again:

I tried running from a different DHCP from eth0, same problem. Didn't try rolling back systemd though. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this.

My workaround was to disable systemd-networkd and use `systemctl enable dhcpcd@wlan0`. systemd-networkd works fine on my Thinkpad, just not my rpi. So I'm a little confused.

networkd is intended for simple setups such as VMs or containers, but also works fine on Ethernet connections. It has no support for WiFi.

Hi,

I have the same issues, but I'm on a wird network so we can assume that this has nothing to do with the type of the interface.

Started a bug upon https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77850

Please help flesh it out.

Can anyone build a new systemd-networkd binary to try out?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[hendry@alarmpi ~]$ sudo abs
==> Downloading tarballs...
==> core...
==> ERROR: Download failed
==> extra...
==> ERROR: Download failed
==> community...
==> ERROR: Download failed
==> multilib...
==> ERROR: Download failed
')

Can't figure out how to compile it myself.

Do sudo abs core followed by sudo abs
