In the DownloadDaemon post was written
I guess by latest version you mean 1.0.1? If so: The megaupload.com page layout changed some time back so the plugin that comes with 1.0.1 does not work any more. You should compile a recent nightly-version instead of 1.0.1 or wait for the next version (will be released in the middle of january).
As you should know, these applications have troubles only when the provider change page, so is needed to update the plugins quite often. That's the reason why I have released a PKGBUILD that build the package using the snv available on trunk.
The release that I have build has been commited in the middle of Feb. and then should already incoporate all the fixes and I confirm you that I don't have any problem with megaupload, but I have also noted that megaupload sometime change the page and display a message like "the file is temporary not available
" (even if the file is available) I think that this happen only with the free accounts. I'm not sure that this can help, but you can try to set the following option in downloaddaemon.conf:
- Code: Select all
# If this is enabled, DownloadDaemon will automatically precheck links when you
# add them, even if we are not in download-time. It will check if the links are
# online, and, if possible, what size they (approximately) have.
precheck_links = 1
I have also noted that you have trouble with your Dockstar also to compile applications that I don't understand and I suspect that you can also have problem with others applications (DownloadDaemon included)
. I have a PogoPlug-v2 and I don't have any problem. I have 256MB of RAM plus 512MB of swap, the only difference between the PogoPlug and the Dockstart is the RAM, try to increase your swap file.
