Unbricking Pogoplug E02 black

Postby chiefdome » Mon Feb 04, 2013 9:27 pm

Hi Community,

i got a black pogoplug POGO-E02.
It isnt accessible via www, ssh or serial connection.
How to revive this broken device via jtag?
I bought a bus pirate to give jtag and openocd a try but unforntunately I cant get the correct wiring.

I opened the case to see whats going on so there are a few things the pogo makes me sick.
First of all the description of the device is weird. Pictures sometimes describing more than words - Image

So you cant really know which device you already bought.

Since pogoplugged is offline there arent many descriptions of the jtag device than these.

Uboot seems to be destroyed because the serial port isnt anwering on screen.
Hope to get the correct jtag pinout.

Here is a image of the connectors on the board: Image

I think he fixed the wiring in the second post: According to Niii this is the pinout:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
Power connector
-----------
GND
TDI
SRST
TDO
CLK
TMS
RES
3.3
-----------
serial connector')
Notice where the power connector and serial connectors are for correct orientation

and the correct pinout that worked for him:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
BusPirate - pogoplug
------------
AUX - RES
GND - GND
MOSI - TDI
MISO - TDO
CLK - TCK
CS - TMS ')

I did not jtag it, just quoting Nii with some clarifications.

He also attached the correct board config to be used with openOCD in the thread.
