mkinitcpio fails with errors

When I run [code]mkinitcpio -p linux-rpi -v[/code] I get the output
==> WARNING: errors were encountered during the build. The image may not be complete.

I already fixed the missing locale for bsdtar:make_clickable_callback(MAGIC_URL_LOCAL, ' ', 'https://archlinuxarm.org/forum', 'viewtopic.php?f=65&t=16784&p=72238#p72238', ' class="postlink-local"')
I removed the not supported 'microcode' hook for armv7l from /etc/mkinitcpio.conf.

When I comment the following line out mkinitcpio finishes without errors.

/usr/lib/initcpio/install/kms:
add_checked_modules_from_symbol 'drm_privacy_screen_register' '=drivers/platform'

There is no error in the output at all except for the line at the end.

Without that line in /usr/lib/initcpio/install/kms the rpi3b running with linux-rpi armv7l boots up fine.
