Can't use chromium on fresh OS install

Postby pistus » Mon Feb 10, 2014 11:09 am

I'm using Raspberry Pi model B in which I've installed the Arch linux Arm.
I've installed Chromium from the official pacman repo, but when I try to run it, it complains about missing shared library libwebp.so.4
There's only the latest version libwebp.so.5 in my /usr/lib/ -folder and the previous version of libwebp (version 0.3.1-3 which contains libwebp.so.4) is not anymore available in the official repos. I've tried to google it everywhere, but there's only i686 or x86-64 architecture versions of the previous package available, no use in rasp then. Should I just wait until chromium is updated to handle libwebp.so.5 or is there something I could try? I need the chromium for my XBMC:s chrome launcher addon.
