Raspberry pi b+ - kernel compilation on ubuntu 14.04

I'm new to 'archlinux ARM'. I'd like to compile the latest kernel for for rpi b+ in my ubuntu 14.04 PC. I've just downloaded the https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs.git. I don't know how to proceed further.

I have also gone through this link http://archlinuxarm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=6565.

But I'm still unclear with where and how to setup the toolchains in my PC. It would be nice if someone could guide me.
