Sound on Odroid U3

Has anyone been able to get Alsa or Pulse working on the Odroid U3? Even when running software as root (bad, I know) I get permission issues. I do see that there doesn't seem to be any module loaded that relates to sound (lsmod | grep snd give nothing). Has anyone had any luck with the U3?

FYI, when running the Fedora distribution for the Odroid, I have no trouble, so I'm assuming it is something I'm missing in setting up Arch, not a hardware issue.

Maybe this is cursing in the church, but I can whisper that, I just tested with Lubuntu 13.10 for ARM and Xubuntu 14.04 for ARM and both supported Audio over Micro HDMI port, out of the box. Though I didn't caught that ODROID to play any DTS, or DOLBY a like stuff... yet maybe never... but audio works also via, maybe, the audio output jack on the ODROID U3 CE..
