The Pogoplugs are great devices but the memory limit will get to you if you running too much apps.
I won't get another Allwinner based device, I've got the Cubieboard 2 (A20) and it's garbage, overheat and freeze without a fan blowing.
My Cubox-i2 is pretty amazing, very stable, proper heat dissipation and it's dam tiny, see http://i.imgur.com/dZpQMVA.jpg

@tomgradwell

I'm 100% sure this is heat related so it has nothing to do with the board except for bad thermal relieve/dissipation design.
If something is faulty then it's the SoC that overheat (and it's a maybe because this might be acceptable by Allwinner's quality control) and as I stated, with a fan attached the board works and doesn't freeze.

My Cubieboard is in the trash and I wouldn't touch Allwinner based devices again.
I've got a Cubox-i2 running 24/7 for months without an issue and soon an i4 will be added to it so my recommendation is if you need the extra memory and cpu power then get a Cubox-i else get a PogoPlug Series 4 both are quality products and reliable that will work flawlessly.
