need tio spin down external drive quicker

have pogoplug pro
have 3 drives connected to it - one of the i only use once a week or so - the drive is a lacie 2tb 3.5 main powered and doesnt seems to spin down. for now i just turn it off and on as needed as i dont want it to wear down and consume power spinning for nothing
is there a way to get it to spin down - lets say after 20 minutes of no use?
