[SOLVED]how wireless starts up automatically at boot

Postby jhello » Tue Nov 26, 2013 8:28 am

I installed dkms-8188eu driver for my wireless with pacman,and connected successfully with $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'wifi-menu').
But after reboot I cannot find wlan0 with $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'ifconfig -a').
I created a file named /etc/modules-load.d/8188eu.conf with 8188eu in it,but it still didnt work after reboot.
What else should I do?
Thanks very much!
+++ADD+++
When installing driver with pacman,it says
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '(11/11) installing dkms-8188eu [#####################################################] 100%

Creating symlink /var/lib/dkms/8188eu/v4.1.4_6773/source ->
/usr/src/8188eu-v4.1.4_6773

DKMS: add completed.
Error! echo
Your kernel headers for kernel 3.6.11-14-ARCH+ cannot be found at
/usr/lib/modules/3.6.11-14-ARCH+/build or /usr/lib/modules/3.6.11-14-ARCH+/source.
Error! echo

/usr/lib/modules/3.6.11-14-ARCH+/build or /usr/lib/modules/3.6.11-14-ARCH+/source.')
so I $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'ln -s /usr/src/linux-3.6.11-15-ARCH+/ /usr/lib/modules/3.6.11-14-ARCH+/build')
Does it matters?

Did you update before installing dkms-8188eu ?
Or maybe you updated, never rebooted, then installed dkms-8188eu

enable dkms service so the driver is rebuilt after a kernel update
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'systemctl enable dkms')
