VIA WM8880 notebook

I'm getting a cheap notebook (based on VIA WM8880) with Android 4.2 pre-installed on a NAND. Here is a link to the vendor page with specs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=1TS-0017-00008.

I would like to replace the Android with Linux, and I'm wondering if anyone has successfully done so (with everything functional, including WiFi) with this specific device.

From the look of it, of the Arch-on-ARM supported systems, its infrastructure is most similar to the Allwinner boards.
