most videos not playing on youtube

A lot of videos aren't playing on youtube now. Some still play (maybe older ones)?

I'm using chromium and have pepper-flash

seems resolution was to make sure HTML5 was not used as the player.

the chrome app "YouTube Options" allows you to lock the player into adobe flash.

html5 videos used to work but these days are corrupted (Samsung chromebook) e.g. youtube, paypal home page.

Deleting /usr/lib/chromium/libffmpegsumo.so is the easiest option.

Or you can just go to youtube.com/html5

deleting file works for me hopefully will "stay" working.
