Mount options VFS

Postby ShiPa » Thu Mar 06, 2014 9:07 am

Hello. I want to set mount options for /dev/root, but there is no such entry in /etc/fstab. The only entry is /boot. So, how can I change mount options for /dev/root? Thanks

/dev/root is an alias for your /dev/sd[whatever] which contains rootfs. The parameters are passed to the kernel at boot by uboot (or defaults are used).

You can set the mount options either in the fs itself, or via an appropriate entry added to fstab.
