I need advice on cubieboard2 install and source

Postby tomgradwell » Fri Mar 14, 2014 9:54 am

I have installed ArchLinuxARM-sun7i-latest-tar.gz on the cb2
uname -r shows 3.4.0-10
and it performs really well. There is no nand device and the gpio looks odd.
I wish to get the source code (to match the above install but when I get the source for
cb2 it does not match. Can any one tell me how to get the exact source for this.
The source code I have is linux-sunxi-sunxi-3.4-cb2
How do I know it does not match ?
the config files are different for a start the install has HIDRAW and works with logitech
unifying devices whereas the source which I have got has HIDRAW not installed.

Nope that may be the correct source but their is no defconfig for the build
I am expecting to do a make ...defconfig
edit the .config file
and then make uImage modules
If any one can help ?

I have also found that the gpio system is working as specified .. Brilliant !
Just nand I wish to fix

You might want to actually read what the PKGBUILD does.
