Building BeagleBone-bootloader.tar.gz; initramfs

Postby parport » Sat May 03, 2014 1:03 am

How does BeagleBone-bootloader.tar.gz get built? I mean are there any patches applied on top of vanilla U-Boot, and what features are compiled in. Especially whether or not it supports CONFIG_SUPPORT_RAW_INITRD.

If someone has been successful in modifying uEnv.txt to boot an initramfs.cpio.gz, any pointers would be swell ...

Ah, thank you! I didn't know it used a normal PKGBUILD because there's nothing in /var/lib/pacman/local.

By the way, 0001-am335x_evm-uEnv.txt-bootz-n-fixes.patch has been shrunk down quite a bit for U-Boot v2014.04.
