beagle distro won't boot

Postby miltmobley » Tue Nov 04, 2014 4:01 am

I downloaded your latest beagle rootfs and bootloader, and installed them to an SD card
using the instructions at avedo.net, which are similar to yours except that they use parted
instead of fdisk.

The resulting partitions are similar in format to those of the corresponding debian image,
but your image won't boot.

I noticed there are no device node files under /dev. Is this correct? I am sceptical the boot
would succeed without at least console or tty0 devices.

Yes, /dev should be empty. /dev is populated by devtmpfs

Well then, I don't have an answer as to why the arch distro wont boot.
I ordered a serial debug cable, perhaps it will provide more info.

In the meantime can you tell me where the recipe/source for the kernel resides?
I would like to examine the kernel's .config file, but I coudn't find them on the archlinuxarm website
