Sound not coming out on Raspberry pi

I ran $this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'sudo speaker-test') but no sound came out. I also tried this:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'sudo amixer sset Master unmute
[sudo] password for _:
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'Master',0
')

I am trying to get sound out the audio jack. What do I do?
