Is my Pi not using hardware acceleratin for Kodi?

Postby altiris » Sat Jun 13, 2015 11:36 pm

I set up Arch linux arm and kodi on raspberry pi and it works great, very large files can stream and play via NFS just fine. Looking at the kodi page on Arch wiki say to install omxplayer-git, xorg-xrefresh and xorg-xset to get hardware acceleration working however I don't believe I have these, at least for sure not omxplayer-git and it is working fine. So is the raspberry pi not using hardware acceleration or something? That seems wrong...just a bit confused here.

This addition is relatively new (24th of may): https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?ti ... did=369398
I've got none of these installed (at least manually). I don't think this is correct.
