md raid, done to prevent single block failure causing image corruption. The 7820 SDK formats it this way.

Also, our ext4 driver is modular, not in the kernel. That is fixable though.

Seems that booting Archlinux and used the existing xfs partition (which is normaly used as a raid with mdadm) has broke the raid :(

Not surprise that it broke the raid.

I have delete the partition table and create a new one. format /dev/sda1 with ext3 and put ALARM-2011.11-oxnas-rootfs.tar.gz onto it. Seems that it works fine ;)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jedie2', 'M')EDION LIFE P89626 NAS -> http://www.mikrocontroller.net/articles/P89626 (de)
Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive, Cloud Edition -> http://iomega.nas-central.org/wiki/Cate ... e_Media_CE

Short feedback for our Medion Box: The stage1 is similar to the Iomega HMNHD: It looks at the SATA Disk and used uBoot from there, if exists. As described here: http://iomega.nas-central.org/wiki/Stoc ... _32_MiB.29

Now we have everything together to install ArchLinuxARM ;)

This is pretty much the basis of my Pogoplug pure SATA boot process :)
