I'm having random hangs and reboots with error spinlock lockup on cpu#1, udevd etc

Anyone else with this problem or is just me?

how did you guyz install e17?

i ran:
Code: Select all
sudo su
pacman -S e-svn
pacman -S e17-extra-svn

then edited ~/.xinitrc and added a # to the line that executes gnome and added "exec englithenment_start"

heh, i installed gdm and activated it in the daemons.
but i didnt remember gdm doesnt have an onscreen keyboard (since i dont have one).

and now im stuck

Anyone know what to mount or which path to visit to find arch-root? i was hoping to remove gdm from daemons by editing it via novaterm.

nvm found it.
went to the installation guide and found my way back to:
Code: Select all
cd /tmp
mkdir linux
mount /dev/store/arch-root linux
cd linux
do w/e you need to do
umount linux
cd /tmp
rm -r linux

hey guys, has anyone mapped a right click to something useable? maybe a hardware button or double-clicking?
or maybe know of a program like xev that can tell me the names of the buttons. As of right now, maybe i`m doing something wrong but i cant see to get xev or its dependecies to build.

thanks

maybe xev is not ARM compatible?

Ssh server is running by default, so all you has to do was ssh in from a computer on your network:
Code: Select all
ssh linux@IP

with linux as your password(unless you have changed the defaults). Once you are logged in, simply use nano or vim to fix your issues and then su to root to reboot.

I just compiled and installed razor-qt (using yaourt and changing in the pkg arch=('armv7h') instead of i686) and it works really fast and stable too. :D

Is not very different as how the classic gnome feels, i'm now compiling maliit to try if its a better keyboard that the one that we use now.

With gnome and e17 I had a lot of system reboots but with razor it has been up for an hour and counting.
