I have a POGO-B01
I started following directions on lifehacker including the following:
wget http://Arch Linux ARM.com/os/pogoplug/mke2fs
chmod 755 mke2fs
mount /dev/sda1 usb
It was right about there that I figured out that I needed to be following a better guide here on this site at:http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6 ... provideov3
Was able to go to step 12 but after reboot, my plug appears somewhat dead. Probably because I had already done uBoot from lifehacker instructions. I used my linux laptop and tried the root system tarball + mac_addr file. I have tried two USB flash drives and one external 1TB USB hard drive. All have the same result.
Whether I plug a prepared flash drive or USB drive in or not, the result is the same. I plug in the power to the plug and the light on the front never lights up. Not even for a second. I can see the ethernet link light which lights for 1 second, then turns off. This repeats about three times. Then pauses an extra second and repeats again.
I've tried taking the flash or USB drive and reading /var/log files but these are not being updated.
It's as though this unit is completely bricked but I'm hoping someone has something I can try. I have not tried the SATA method because I don't have an enclosure but worst case I could get one.
