... it's been updated: root=/dev/mmcblk0p2 This breaks USB booting, as the root partition isn't on a microsd. Not good. I've changed it back to use PARTUUID and will report back - edit, yup, now boots. We need to stop the update modifying /boot/cmdline.txt, possibly file a bug report? Not a bug. ...
