Please try firmware-raspberrypi-20240831-1 once it hits the repos. Works for me on RPi4B and another user on RPi5B.

With firmware-raspberrypi 20240831-2 (and raspberrypi-bootloader 20240831-1 and everything up to date), the wpa_supplicant problem is fixed for RPi4 but not for RPi3.

I had to downgrade earlier wpa_supplicant.

I just tried with a full update on my rasberrypi 3 today (septembre 3rd) : everything runs fine. I think the issue is solved upstream.

I just updated again a few minutes ago on my RPi3, e.g. these were the two updates today:

2024-09-03 21:24:33 coreutils 9.5-1 -> 9.5-2
2024-09-03 21:24:33 libpcap 1.10.4-2 -> 1.10.5-2

And removed the temporary "options brcmfmac feature_disable=0x82000" I had to add to work around this problem but still my RPi3 does not connect to wifi. Add that line back and it connects fine. So I don't believe this problem is fixed for RPi3.

It seems to be resolved in kernel version 6.10.7.

For now, as workaround, adding the kernel parameter "brcmfmac.feature_disable=0x82000" solves it. At least in my case (Wandboard).

Same here after upgrade to linux-armv7 version 6.10.7-1 (Wandboard)
