I just wanted to be careful, Fedorda was originally the preferred choice of the raspberry pi foundation, but no RTC meant things went wrong like password expired, and not being able to change.
Then the arch way is not to customise rootfs, but x86 have RTC's
openntpd was the only reliable way, I did give ntpd a shot
Maybe we should start a thread with ideas on what would be best on new rootfs?
Another idea there is to make static ip address easy to do
