$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('graysky', 'S')ignal to noise ratio and in this thread is getting low. To summarize:
Result- one user with affected hardware tried the 5.15.18-6 and reported that it fixed the issues.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jsermer', 'i')'m experiencing this same issue on a rpi3b+ with the new 5.15.x kernel that was just released

After 5.15.18-6:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jsermer', 't')he linux-rpi 5.15.18-6 fixed it for me...thx for the quick turnaround

Can confirm: no ethernet or USB with linux-rpi-5.15.18-5 aarch64 after reboot.
EDIT: Working fine with kernel 5.15-21-pri-ARCH

Thanks, @graysky!

On armv7h, with linux-rpi 5.15.21, I can't boot anymore a rpi3b.
"root" is on SSD on usb, I am dropped in emergency shell (/boot on sd card though).

I downgraded linux-rpi(-headers) to 5.10.95-2 and it works again.

Replying to myself, this also happens on another rpi3b, booting directly on usb hdd (/boot on hdd).

While in mergency shell, my usb wirelles keyboard does not work. So this looks the same. I couldn't check the ethernet interface.

Again, downgrading the kernel to 5.10.95-2 is the way I found to get it to boot again.

I do not boot from USB so you'll have to assist. I may have missed a kernel symbol for USB in the rpi-5.15.y update. Is this just armv7h or also aarch64? In inspecting the difference for symbols between the last 5.10 kernel and the latest, I only see two modules with 'USB' in their names removed:
CONFIG_USB_SERIAL_XIRCOM=m
CONFIG_TABLET_USB_GTCO=m

I don't think that would account for what you're seeing. I assume the kernel update triggered a rebuild of the initramfs image?

Under 5.15.21-2, post your:
/etc/mkinitcpio.conf
/boot/cmdline.txt
/boot/config.txt

Perhaps I'm cursing in the church (norwegian saying) but you might want to take a look at manjaro-arm's kernel config. They've fixed BT as well.

/etc/mkinitcpio.conf
[...]
/boot/cmdline.txt

[...]

/boot/config.txt

[...]

I just noticed that I don't have a cmdline.txt.pacnew when installting 5.15. May be that is not an issue.

May be i just need some usb module. But I have no clue about which one..

Edit: Removed config file because is not relevant. Now that w have the solution with 5.15.21-3. See below

Had the same issue with Rpi 2 with rootfs on usb. Had to rebuild the kernel with

CONFIG_NOP_USB_XCEIV=y
CONFIG_USB_GADGET=y

to get it to work. This matches the RPi ltd config options.

mkinitcpio is doesn't pick up up the modules as they weren't needed for whatever reason in 5.10.x kernel so not specified anywhere.

Thanks for the feedback. I changed our configs with these enabled.

Can someone affected please try 5.15.21-3 when it hits your repo and report back?

5.15.21-3 is good and fixes the problem for me.

Thanks to @sgk60 for the tip and @graysky for the responsiveness;
