Something else interesting is the PiOS current stable kernel branch kernel 6.12.73 plays kodi-rpi hevc perfectly also. I built this kernel to try to see if 6.18 was the cause of an intermittent system lock up I have been getting with 6.18. So far the lock up has not happened.
