[kodi-rbp][libcec-rpi]Continual switch to TV's rpi hdmi port

Latest update to kodi-rpi 16.1-7 is causing the TV to switch to the HDMI port that the Raspberry Pi 2 is plugged into. The switch happens every 3 minutes 10 seconds without fail.

libcec-rpi was upgraded to 4.0.0-1 at the same time. No other packages were upgrade and the system is up to date.

Downgrading to kodi-rpi 16.1-6 and libcec-rpi 3.1.0-3 fixes the issue.

If libcec-rpi 4.0 is the issue, I want to point out, that it is necessary in order for kodi-rbp-git to build and work correctly.
Maybe 4.0 is generally not working with your TV, in which case you should talk to its developers since it may become mandatory for kodi.

Is pacman able of versioned dependecies? If so maybe kodi-rbp should be set to libcec-rbp <= 3.1 and kodi-rbp-git >= 4.0

The p8 cec adapter does not work if you update either package without the other. Both packages need to be updated at the same time.

So, having upgraded to kodi 17 this is still an issue.

Having troubleshooted this some more, libcec-rpi is causing an issue with the screensaver. The screensaver activates after the set timeout (in this case 3 minutes) but is then deactivated after 5 seconds bringing the screen back to full instensity which in turn causes the tv to switch to the connected hdmi port.

Changing the screensaver timeout to 1 minute you can see the screensaver activate every minute and deactivate 5 seconds later.

Uninstalling libcec-rpi and its dependencies fixes the issue, keeps the screensaver activated which in turn stops the tv from continually switching to the connected port.

You can control what Kodi can do over CeC protocol. You can disable switching HDMI port under hardware peripheral preferences in kodi

I've had a play with the settings. Turning off 'Wake devices when deactivating the screensaver' stops the TV from being signalled but the screensaver issue still persists. Seems the screensaver was broken by a change made in libcec-rpi 4.0.0-1.
