some package questions

hi there,
just installed my pogo B04 with the archlinux

maybe you can help me with suitable packages...

- samba, of course (i´ve done it)

- i have a samsung le40c650 tv with an usb internet stick. which dnla does its´ job?
- i want with my samsung galaxy s access files, is there an app?
- from my office, how can i get access to the pogo? is there a possibility? i think of opening my firefox at the office and my files are shown me in the browser window. is there a package? or does it work with samba aswell?

Tv: minidlna should work, but some TVs/BluRays/etc can make direct samba connections.

Phone: I have a captivate, and Astro File Manager plus the Samba connector will access, also, it should be able to access via dlna.

Office: hmm, there are many variable methods, but sshfs might be all that is needed...

Be sure to look up ssh tunneling & directions, as I use that to open only SSH via my firewall, and I RDP directly to my Windows 7 computer at home

If your office machine is windows, check out WinSCP. Not exactly like opening a firefox window, but you can drag and drop files into your work machine. Just make sure to open port 22 for scp to connect remotely and to use the IP address of your plug, not the networked "192.168.#.#" one. I've kept school files on it when my jumpdrives are full.

Killer part: if you got port 22 open you can also ssh into it if you ever need to run an update or start/stop programs from away. I have ConnectBot on my Google G1 to ssh in if I'm on the go too. WARNING!: before you open the port, ssh in (from home) and run passwd to change your root password to something more secure than the default one. Don't want someone to stumble into your plug >.<
