Java get aborted (core dumped), after install package jre8-openjdk 8.u162-2

I was just coming here to post about this. I am experiencing this error also on my armv5 (pogoplug) and armv7 (odroid). I've been scouring the net and found that OSMC has implemented a fix for this error.

Here is the link to the fix.

If a developer here can implement and compile for armv5 and armv7 I can test both packages.
