[pacman] - missed a modification to /etc/makepkg.conf ?

On my x86_64 box, the pacman-5.1.2-2 upgrade removed the -fstack-protector-strong from CLFAGS. On my armv7h box, the same pacman update did not. Is that intentional or a mistake?
