linux-raspberrypi permissions inconsistent for vfat

Firstly, I apologise in advance if this post is in the wrong place or misinformed - I'm relatively new to Arch and Arch Linux ARM.

I've run `paccheck --file-properties` to verify file permissions against packages' expectations. One of the warnings raised concerns /boot/linux7.img from linux-rapsberrypi.

The package expects permissions 755 but this is inconsistent with the permissions 644 expected for all the other files in /boot (mostly from the linux-raspberrypi package as well).

Given that the Raspberry Pi requires a vfat boot partition, how can this package expect files under /boot to have unique permissions? Being vfat, my understanding is that all files can only appear to have the same permissions (configured by the mount options) because FAT itself does not support file permissions.

How can this inconsistency be corrected?

FAT32 makes things 755 as I understand it.
