[solved] Issue with qtwebengine and Calibre viewer armv7h

Postby armuseru » Sat Jan 09, 2021 10:48 am

Hello,

I have several e-books organized in Calibre. When I try to read some of them using Calibre e-book reader I get error

Restarting did not help.

E-books in epub format. My arm device is Samsung Chromebook xe303c12 that run Arch Linux Arm with xfce. This error does not occur on Arch Linux x86_64

Edit: after last update all works fine. Thanks a lot.

Try starting calibre from the shell and see if you get any useful debug info when this GUI error hits.

It seems like calibre use qtwebengine, qtwebengine based on chromium, chromium had a bug that appear in 32-bit systems

The last few updates have not changed anything, bug still present on my system
