Probably due to the python-3.10 rebuild.

New packages but no updates

Postby acorbi » Mon Dec 20, 2021 3:28 pm

Hi all!

I'm using my rpi4 with archlinux arm and the aarch64 architecture.
It's working ok.
I did my last packages update on december 15. It workwed flawlessly.

Today (december 20) after seeing kernel package updates and some other packages updated (i.e in[1] and in the package database) I tried a 'sudo pacman -Syyu' and it tells me that 'there is nothing to do'.

Any ideas about what can be happening?

Thanks!

Does the build farm need more hardware donations? How well does it scale horizontally to more builders rather than beefier builders?

If it's simpler to consolidate it all onto one build server, we could ask Ampere Computing/GIGABYTE whether they'd be willing to sponsor a Mt Snow server or offer it at a discounted price that we can afford with a bit of crowdfunding.

Broken repos

Postby taudoy » Wed Dec 22, 2021 3:20 pm

Hi,

Packages that have been built recently (like Python, on Mon Dec 13 00:50:40 2021 UTC, seem not to exist in the repos: http://de3.mirror.archlinuxarm.org/aarc ... pkg.tar.xz (404).
Is this a known issue?

Hey all,

any news about that bug? Unfortunately there is a very important security update for Apache, however, the package could not be found on the servers. We've migrated our server to nginx in the meantime. If we can support you, please do not hesitate to contact us :)

Best regards

Hi,
I am in the same case, my last kernel is 5.10.83-1, and i did not get any update since. Yet, there is a 5.10.88 version on the website.
What are we supposed to do ?
Do we have something to do with Python and rebuild ourselves our packages based on Python ?

Thanks in advance for your help
