RPI4: Switch from linux-aarch64 to linux-rpi ethernet issue

Yesterday I switched from linux-aarch64 tp linux-rpi kernel (because of a Hifiberry DAC).

Just a note for others in the same boat: Rebooting is not enough, you got to pull the power cable. Otherwhise the ethernet cable connection won't be established. It took me hours of debugging and fiddling with other network managers before trying the obvious (turn it off and back on again).

Never experience this myself having just tested the kernel switch. What does your journalctl say?

First 2 boots are with aarch64, the rest is rpi. Last one is after (un)plugging the power. Also the ethernet LEDs (green/yellow) didn't light up, before last boot.

Very odd. I have not experienced this when switching kernel/bootloaders.
