linux-am33x depends on mkinitcpio

I am trying to install and use booster as an alternative to mkinitcpio, and in this process I've discovered that linux-am33x depends on mkinitcpio, which means I cannot remove it without breaking dependencies. This appears to be an odd choice to me as the linux package on regular Arch Linux more sensibly depends on initramfs which opens up alternatives. Could we change the dependency?

Looking into it more, there is an open pull request for this: [url]https://github.com/archlinuxarm/PKGBUILDs/pull/1962[/url]
It also has "various fixes" which overlaps with another pull request, it's not ready to merge. May be worth making a pull request with just the initrfamfs changes, as I do not think all the other changes are necessary, not entirely sure yet.

Edit: On second thought, since those other changes are to files that reference mkinitcpio, they will probably not work as intended when installing another initramfs.
The PRs look old, but I'm not entirely sure what kept them from being merged yet.
