Squid package broken after update

Postby munroan » Wed Mar 28, 2012 7:17 pm

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm experiencing problems with the squid package. It was working a few weeks ago but when I tried to start it up today I get the following error

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', ':: Creating squid's swap directories [BUSY] /etc/rc.d/squid: line 16:
/usr/sbin/squid: cannot execute binary file
:: Starting squid [BUSY] /etc/rc.d/squid: line 19:
/usr/sbin/squid: cannot execute binary file
[FAIL]')

I'm fairly new to Pacman and arch so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to fix this. There doesn't appear to be any helpful information within the logs that I'm looking at (errors, everything, squid).

Thanks for your help.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'file /usr/sbin/squid')

Result was:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '/usr/sbin/squid: data')
