CUPS gives internal server error after upgrade OxNas

Postby WizardOz » Sat Jul 21, 2012 10:29 am

Hi,
After the upgrade of my pogoplug Pro to the latest Oxnass my CUPS configuration is not working anymore.
For upgrading I've followed the instructions from the post on viewtopic.php?f=29&t=2453&start=20
and extracted the ArchLinuxARM-2012.06-oxnas.tar.gz. Everything is working fine,... except for CUPS v1.5.3. When I install CUPS and Gutenprint I can access it via the web 192.168.x.x:631 but when I try to configure the printer (via the admin.cgi) I get a message Internal Server Error.
The CUPS log shows : PID 10066 (/usr/lib/cups/cgi-bin/admin.cgi) crashed on signal 11.
I also tried to reconfigure CUPS starting from the default config files... but this is not working neither
Any idea how to solve this ?

PS. CUPS was working fine on my pogoplug before the upgrade.
PS2. Is there any other software for network printing that I can use on the Pogoplug/OxNas

That's a segmentation fault, meaning that it took a crap. We'll have to dig into what might have occurred.

I had the same problem and traced it to libgnutls being unable to read from /dev/urandom.

I fixed it by making /dev/random and /dev/urandom accessible to all users:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', 'chmod a+rw /dev/random /dev/urandom')
