SOLVED: [ffmpeg] Last update (2.0-2) breaks chromium

Postby libercv » Fri Aug 02, 2013 6:14 am

I've noticed that Chromium fails to open due to missing shared library -> libavcodec.so.54
Last ffmpeg contains libavcodec.so.55

Should Chromium be updated or is a ffmpeg issue?

Thanks a lot

pretty sure chromium just needs to catch up.

in the interim i fixed this by downgrading both ffpmeg and x264:
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ffmpeg-1\:1.2.1-1-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/x264-20130206-1-armv7h.pkg.tar.xz

might break something else, but at least chromium works...
