Ubiquiti

Curious how the package maintainers work in ARM vs x86? There's a package, ubiquiti, in both - and it's arch independent. The main package repo has the package at 4.7.5-1 whereas ARM has it at 4.6.6-1. I'd be interested in maintaining it (or helping) if it's going to be ignored.

Thanks!

[armv7] [abs] community/unifi (4.7.5-1|4.6.6-1): unbuilt, build time: 6m29s, last built: Wed Jul 1 14:44:45 2015, blocked on: community/mongodb (F)

Seems it is failing on mongodb at the moment, 3.0.6 is failing.
[armv7] [git] community/mongodb (3.0.6-2|3.0.4-1): failed, build time: 16m52s, last built: Sun Sep 20 08:59:24 2015

Interesting. Looking through BUILDPKG it doesn't appear 3.0.6 is a hard requirement. Tried manually building on ARMHF and everything completed fine with 3.0.4-1.

From the readme.txt within the UniFi DiY software bundle (bottom of this page: http://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Upda ... -p/1357245) it states:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'S')ystem Requirements
===================
* mongoDB 1.6.5 (http://www.mongodb.org/downloads)
* Sun Java 6

Maybe there is a different problem with Mongo that I can't see, but it built (3.0.4-1) fine on my RPi2.

I am currently testing the manual PKGBUILD I built (based on the 4.7.5-1 from x86) and all the UniFi services appear to be working correctly. I'll continue to test... Let me know if you'd like the tar.xz that's built.

It is standard practice not to build a package that has a dependency in a failed state at the time of updates. This is why it was "blocked" on mongodb in the failed state.

We're fixed up mongodb, and now the current Unifi has been added as well, automatically.

Thanks for the insight!

Unfortunately doing a system upgrade this evening wherein mongodb upgraded to 3.0.6-2 broke. The service doesn't seem to start on RPi2, get a backtrace:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '[2015-10-12 02:16:50,651] <db-server> ERROR system - [exec] error, rc=14, output=2015-10-12T02:16:50.636+0000 F - Invalid access at address: 02015-10-12T02:16:50.643+0000 F - Got signal: 11 (Segmentation fault). 0xb88308 0xb879c8 0xb87ddc 0x7632da30----- BEGIN BACKTRACE -----{"backtrace":[{"b":"10000","o":"B78308"},{"b":"10000","o":"B779C8"},{"b":"10000","o":"B77DDC"},{"b":"76301000","o":"2CA30"}]} mongod(_ZN5mongo15printStackTraceERSo+0x2C) [0xb88308] mongod(+0xB779C8) [0xb879c8] mongod(+0xB77DDC) [0xb87ddc] libc.so.6(__default_rt_sa_restorer+0x0) [0x7632da30]----- END BACKTRACE -----')
