New u-boot for linux-armv7h-rc kernel?

Postby lharmon » Tue Apr 07, 2015 3:40 pm

I have been experimenting with the linux-armv7-rc kernel. It seems to be working fine so, far.
However when installing the new kernel, pacman displayed a note saying an updated u-boot was required.

Is this true for the Marvell armada-370?

I am currently using a u-boot labeled
"U-Boot 2009.08 (Jan 19 2014 - 22:43:35)Marvell version: 1.1.2 NQ"

Does it have the ability to load zImage and dtb? If not, then you will need to
$this->bbcode_second_pass_code('', '
cat zImage dtbs/my.dtb > myImage
mkimage ...
')
