Plug E02 - latest U-Boot 2015.10-1 not booting

So, I next determined that indeed my USB stick had a hosed up "Disk Identifier".

I put it in another system, used expert options (x) in fdisk to write a new one with a (i) command.

ejected and placed back in my system with 2015.10-1 and....

it booted - without Ethernet....

So, I'm attempting to write the ethaddr to what it was and have high hopes that I will have a functioning system.

to fix Ethernet to my satisfaction - I just had to write

fw_setenv netconsole off
fw_setenv ethaddr 00:25:31:00:00:00
')

(obviously, use the MAC off the backup you made of the env command dump before upgrading uBoot or.... look at the label on the plug.

So, happy ending.

I'm now updating my other systems - but am FIRST starting with a valid disk identifier
