missing initramfs, EXPRESSObin -> aarch64 kernel

Postby teus » Sat Jan 28, 2023 2:41 pm

The espressobin kernel hasn't been updated in years, a system upgrade broke my network connectivity (no link detected).
I can install the generic aarch64 kernel, but can't figure out how to boot it.

U-boot says:
** File not found /boot/initramfs-linux.uimg **
ERROR: Did not find a cmdline Flattened Device Tree

I tried running "mkinitcpio -p linux-aarch64" , this works and generates the initramfs, in /boot I can see the newly updated file, but the error stays. I have no idea how to work with U-boot.

edit: is this script the right way? https://gist.github.com/ryonsherman/92d ... 77a998e569
