Enable support for eBPF applications via configs in kernel

Postby koogas » Thu Mar 28, 2024 10:05 am

Currently (at least in linux-rpi), it's not possible to use eBPF applications (e.g. Grafana Beyla).
Some kernel configs need to be activated (and maybe more, did not test)

CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_BTF=y
CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_BTF_MODULES=Y

and remove
CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO_NONE=y

This currently works in my Fedora Workstation server out of the box in the default kernel distribution.

I am not seeing that it is supported on RPi kernels. Try to find it in the nconfig.
