using btrfs instead of ext4 for root

Postby rezad » Wed Jul 03, 2024 12:25 am

I am trying to use btrfs instead of ext4 for root.
when I converted ext4 to btrfs and used the same uuid for root, still odroid xu4 would not boot.

all the guides I see, have a boot partition (/boot) with grub but in archlinuxarm there is no grub.

Check to see if ur uboot has btrfs compiled in (guessing that's negatory).

Due to the uboot I use only having ext* drivers compiled in I have root and boot and OS as ext4 and mount users/data ( /root /home) in a btrfs volume.
