gparted resized my card now beep on reboot !HELP!

Postby yaroze » Sat Aug 27, 2016 10:51 pm

Hi

I had installed Alarm on a 32g card but copied it over to a 128g card and all was well. I have been installing all my software and building stuff when I went into gparted and it said I was not using all the card size so i pressed fix it but now i can not boot without getting a beep.

I can however boot if i have the previous 32g card in the usb slot.

I am a newbie at Linux so I can only guess the boot loader is working on the old card and somehow then booting from the new larger card.

I tried to dd over the Kernel partition but it still doesn't work, is there a way to fix this or do I have to start again installing and building again?

Many thanks!
